Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

I purchased this last November at MUFE's Bonifacio High Street store.  I loved the fact that the staff was extremely helpful.  They took one look and knew which shade would perfectly match my skin (140).

This foundation provides long-lasting, medium to heavy coverage.  And since it's an HD foundation, it should look natural in photos.  It does tend to look shiny after a few hours, but gently blotting your face with tissue paper should do the trick... it doesn't rub off that easy.  What's great about this product is that it's lightweight, not the least bit cakey, doesn't feel dry, and my skin did not breakout.

If you're the type who rarely wears foundation, I don't recommend purchasing this because its shelf life is 12 months and since you just need a little, there's going to be a lot of product wasted.  But if you're a make-up artist or someone who attends weddings all the time, this product is worth it.  One pump will dispense a dime-sized amount and it's more than enough to cover your entire face.  It's been 10 months and I still have plenty left.

Still want to try it out anyway?  For everyday use, just press the pump halfway and add some moisturizer - Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream does the trick.  This way, you'll get much lighter coverage which is perfect for daily use.

Well, hello!

Instead of the wand they use in Harry Potter, I prefer a mascara wand.  The potions I love are those that involve aromatherapy.  The act of  pampering and fixing one's self is transforming.  You feel good, beautiful and confident.  In short, it's magic... my kind of magic!

And so, I've finally gotten around to creating a beauty blog.  It's something I've been meaning to do for some time now.

Something to remember: everything written here is based on my personal experience.  I will not review products that have not been tested by myself.  If my skin starts to breakout, burn, or whatever disastrous thing happens, I'm dropping that product ASAP!  The result of anything I try is based on my skin condition, tone, etc.  What may work for me, may not work for you, and vice versa.  Actually, I've noted this down in more detail in my Disclosure Page.

Let's start getting pretty, shall we? ;)
