When I first discovered mineral makeup, I went nuts purchasing different colors of eyeshadow, blush and foundation. I really loved how it felt on my skin but the one thing I disliked was whenever I would set my makeup with loose powder, it would look too matte, too thick. It always happened, even when I'd choose the powder with the lightest coverage.
So I headed to my friendly neighborhood MAC counter to look for something that would get the job done. Carlos recommended that I try the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder in Medium.
It's a low-coverage powder that effectively sets makeup and provides a semi-matte, subtle dewy glow. If you're looking for something that looks natural, this is what you want.
Whenever I use liquid foundation and use this product to set my makeup, I use a powder brush. Then there are days when I'm too lazy to wear makeup and I just want to look shine-free. During those times, I just put on my moisturizer and then take a circular sponge and lightly press this power on to my skin. So far, it hasn't caused any breakouts. Yay!
How much do I love this? I'm on my fourth compact since I started using this three years ago. It's one of those products that I will always be part of my makeup kit.
