I first encountered Paul & Joe Beaute when a friend gifted me an eyeshadow with the cutest packaging ever - it had a sleek black cat printed on the cover of the cardboard container. You know how much of a sucker I am when it comes to cats. When I first got it, I was dreaded that all there was to it was packaging. It's one of those times I'm glad I was wrong because to this day, its the best eyeshadow I've tried. It was packed with color and was the smoothest thing my eyelids have ever had on.
A couple of years passed and I figured it's time to get re-acquainted with Paul & Joe. I decided to skip the latest collection and instead, purchased a product I've been looking for.

Angel is a very light peach color that's iridescent. I chose this because I wanted a product that I could use on my lower waterline to make my eyes look brighter. A certain YouTube guru likes using white eyeliner but that doesn't really work for a lot of people. I think using Angel comes across as natural and suits me best.

This product was part of their collection for Fall 2010 but I believe it's also part of their permanent line. Now I regret not getting Aubergine since it was another one I wanted to get. Let's wait and see.

It's so pretty! Do you think a matte or a shimmery color is best for the waterline? I've been thinking of getting a matte peach color for that, but I haven't found any yet.
ReplyDeletei'd go for something iridescent so that it matches the "watery" look of the undereye area.
ReplyDeletejust watch out for the ones with glitter chunks - ouch!
